Don’t let the big box on the roof intimidate you. In this course, we strip away the mystery of Rooftop Units (RTUs) by keeping it elementary: an RTU is simply a low-efficiency air conditioner and an 80% furnace bundled together into one single cabinet. If you can service a residential split system, you can service an RTU.
The biggest difference is how they are managed. This session focuses on mastering those controls using highly visual, cutting-edge software designed specifically for RTUs. Beyond controls, we will use the same platform to walk through refrigeration diagnostics, giving you the confidence to troubleshoot the entire "box".
