The Controls Verification Procedure (CVP) tests whether a variable-capacity system really modulates on its own controls, and the new KSAIC0701230 24V Crossover Interface changes how a Carrier crossover system gets wired, set up and verified. If you plan to sell these systems successfully and keep your customers comfortable, you need this class. Ignorance of the CVP will cost you dearly in labor and callbacks.

What You Will Learn:

  • Why the CVP Matters- What the CVP tests, what changed on July 7, 2026, and what it means for the systems you sell.

  • What Changes With the KSAIC07- How control moves from 24V calls at the outdoor unit to S1/S2 communication, with a return-air sensor and interface-controlled airflow.

  • Wiring Diagrams & Setup Configurations- You will be shown exactly where to get access to the wiring diagrams and setup configurations for the new controls, so you have them on every job.

  • Thermostats & Evaporators- Setting up third-party 24V thermostats, including the ecobee Pro and dual fuel lockouts, and what the manuals say about the 45MULA coil and other evaporators.

  • Startup & Verification- Using the display codes and a meter to prove every mode before you leave the job, so you don't have to come back.
